| Beer
is a natural beverage obtained by fermenting cereals such
as barley, rice and corn. From these cereals a liquid extract
known as wort is brewed which contains fermentable sugars
that are converted by brewers yeast (a unicellular microorganism
of the fungus family) into alcohol and carbon dioxide (CO2).
Beer is sensitive to light, heat and movement.
It is recommended to be stored in a cool and dark place to
avoid changes in its flavor. |
