Companía Cervecera
de Nicaragua (CCN) was founded in 1926 by a group of Nicaraguan
investors. Located in Managua, the capital city of Nicaragua,
CCN has been producing top-quality beer for over 70 years.
In 1996, CCN merged with Industrial Cervecera, S.A. (ICSA)
to form the largest brewery in Nicaragua.
With
over 80 million dollars invested in the past five years, CCN
has become one of the most state-of-the-art breweries in Latin
America. Its production process is fully automated and environmentally
friendly. With state-of-the-art technology like flash pasteurization
and robotics, CCN provides a world-class product.
Raw materials used in beer production are certified
by highly prestigious international laboratories, such as
Siebel Institute of Technology in Chicago and Brautechnische
Pruf und Versuchsanstalt in Munich. A qualified, highly specialized
quality control team constantly monitors the whole process,
from the import of raw materials to packaging and distribution.
CCN also has the distinction of being the first brewery in
Latin America to have ISO 9001-2000 certified production processes.
In 2003, CCN began exporting Toña Beer
to the U.S. market. Brewed with only the finest selections
of malts and hops, Toña Beer has become well known
for its smooth and balanced flavor.
CCN’s passion for beer and its commitment
to quality have made Toña Beer Nicaragua’s #1
export beer. With a fresh and exotic brand image and its unique
authentic taste, Toña Beer is very appealing to consumers.
